Have your Music Part of First Friday...
gallery nrc features the photography of emerging and established photographers of the Rocky Mountain West. During event openings and the monthly First Friday Art Walk, hundreds of people come through the gallery during a few hours and now gallery nrc is looking for musicians who would like their music featured in the gallery.
Each First Friday or event opening, a different artist would have their music played during the event throughout the gallery with information displayed on the album and how they may obtain more information. During the regular business hours of the gallery music from all participants would be played allowing additional airtime in the course of twelve months.
Musicians who feel their music would be appropriate for gallery nrc are encouraged to send a sample of their music to the gallery. If the music is selected to be part of the program, the artist would provide a copy of the album either on CD or mp3 so it may be played in the gallery, as well as a license to play the music in the gallery. During the featured event business cards or small postcards may be displayed if the artist wishes allowing interested patrons to contact them directly.
