Denver Photowalk Juried Show
Members of the Denver Photowalk Meetup Group were invited to take part in a juried show at gallery nrc with the theme My Colorado - Colorado through the eyes of residents. The work at the Denver Photowalk Juried Show are twenty-five pieces selected in the jury process. While not required it was encouraged that the images were taken during a Denver Photowalk Group Meetup in the past two years.
On Friday February 4, 2011 gallery nrc will host an opening reception for the show. The reception will be held from 6:00-10:00PM at the gallery which is located at 4424 Tennyson Street. During this time the photographers will be on hand to discuss their images and provide further insight to the work selected to be a part of the show.
Images in the show were juried by Nathaniel Coalson who is a travel and fine art photographer, teacher and writer based in Denver, Colorado. Nat has worked professionally in photography, imaging and printing since 1987. His work has been exhibited extensively, received numerous awards and is held in private and corporate collections. Nat is a top-rated instructor who has taught digital photography and imaging to photographers at all levels. He is the author of two best-selling books, including Lightroom 3: Streamlining your Digital Photography Process, published by Wiley in 2010. Nat is an experienced photography competition judge who has juried events for many camera clubs and photography associations, ranging from local to national in scope.
The exhibition runs from February 4, 2011 - March 12, 2011.
